Denver Cultural Center

The Denver Office of Cultural Affairs (DOCA) is exploring the programmatic possibilities of adapting the Carnegie Library/McNichols Building, located in Civic Center Park, into a cultural center. Over the next several weeks, DOCA is hosting three meetings to elicit public input to assist in the visioning process.
The first meeting explores models of cultural centers (both public and private) from around the country. New media and digital innovations to establish a cultural center that is responsive to new forms of cultural participation are investigated at the second meeting. At the last meeting, participants will have the opportunity to put to use what they have learned at previous meetings.
